Changing the print density

If your Dymo printer is printing photos too dark on the badges, please follow the below steps to change the printer density to a lighter setting.

 

  • Push the windows key on your keyboard to pull up the start menu
  • Once at the start menu, click on Devices and Printers  on the right side of the start menu

  • Once you open the Devices and Printers page, you will see the Dymo Label Writer 400/450 Turbo

  • Right click on the Dymo printer and select “printing preferences”

  • You should now see an Advanced button on the bottom right side of the window, select this button

  • As you look at the Advanced options window for your printer you will have four dropdown areas: Paper/Output, Graphic, Document Options, and Printer Features
  • Under Printer Features there is a Print Density option, click on the underlined text to access the dropdown menu
  • On the dropdown, select Light

  • Push OK to save your settings and bring you back to the Printing Preferences page
  • You are now ready to open the Lobbyguard application and observe your new settings on the badge
