Pertains to: LobbyGuard Assist
LobbyGuard Assist does not run properly or sometimes not at all if the User account running the Assist software is not an administrator on the local PC.
LobbyGuard Assist requires that the user running it is a full Windows Administrator (Local, not domain) and has the UAC (User Access Control) disabled
Assist requires that the Windows accounts all have full access to the following directories:
C:\Program Files (x86)
LobbyGuard Assist Folder
In Windows, when a new Program Files directory is created, users are not given full control by default by the operating system. Manually add and give them full rights/permissions as noted above, using “Full Control” on the Security tab. For instance, see the screenshot below. This must be done for all directories above. This step is what helps to avoid rights and permission issues when installing or updating Assist
